I did as you said, crunched the numbers. Comparing the 1200mm and the 425mm Rail. Yes for each shot it does less damage. But it fires more than 2 times for each shot of the 1200. With the dmg modifiers of 2.5 vs 3.5 you can easily see that the 425...

Well, the thing is, the 800mm, the D650mm and the D425mm AC are all short range, fast fire guns. Without with my skills and a tracking comp, a D650 with **** gives me about 4km opti. And 18km fallof. If you'r shooting at 10km, you'r almost halfway...

I sorta agree with Ulstan here.. I think that what we are seeing is not very good.. it's a snowball effect really.. first the hardeners were to good, so nerf them, then the guns do too much dmg, so nerf mods and guns.. All things rely on eachother...

Are you serious? It's pure and simple, maths. Basic maths, there's nothing needed to test here! And while I'm at it, the bigger the cap, the bigger the bonus from controlled bursts will give you, so the reduction (percentage wise) will be greater...

A completely dumb torp is really pointless.. then you have to be within 2km or something to be able to hit a BS with any probability. I'ts a torpedo, not a poking device with a warhead at it's end. You won't hit anything that's moving -at all- if ...
